Number of Background Characters: LOW (You will never see an insane amount so keeping this on LOW saves FPS) NVIDIA HairWorks: OFF (Just DESTROYS FPS) Vignetting: ON (Doesn't hurt anything and is kind of pleasant) Sharpening: Doens't matter (I keep mine on LOW because that looks best to me)Īmbient Occlusion: SSAO or OFF, SSAO looks better compared to OFF and HBAO+ takes away about 5FPSĭepth of Field: OFF (Hate it in my opinion but leaving it off saves valuable FPS)Ĭhromatic Abberation: ON (Notice no impact or visual difference) So the first thing you want to do of course is to hop over into your Graphics settings and go to (You can tweak some settings if you don't like them) Don't worry though, you will BARELY notice the change AND you will still be playing the game on HIGH settings. So for those who want to do this at 1080p, you can, but the graphics settings will have to be turned down to achieve the constant 30FPS mark. I've even made a YouTube video Benchmarking the game that can be found on my YouTube channel at Wellllll, it does, not at 60FPS of course but following my guide you can enjoy the game without at problem at a constant 30FPS with no stutters or problems. ![]() ![]() So, to the guys that believe or say that the Witcher 3 will not run on the 860m or are just wondering in general.
